Calle Ocho is a street festival held one day in March on 8th Street in Miami, Florida where hundreds of thousands of people meet to celebrate everything Cuban. For 24 blocks visitors can enjoy music, partying, children's activities, street performers, local artist's wares, theater, and of course, food! Calle Ocho is best known as the "biggest street party in the country", attracting more than one million people for one day every year, some Cuban and some just curious. Some of the biggest names in Latin entertainment travel here to perform for the crowd, and in 1998 more than 119,000 people joined together to form the world's longest conga line. No matter how you look at it, Calle Ocho is great fun for the whole family.
